The Epic Default Podcast, Ep. 9: Drunken Christmas
by Jonny Nero on Jan.18, 2009, under Podcast
Better late then never. After almost three hours of recording, and drinking, the effects beging to show. This episodeis the most inebriated one to date. It even ends with a drunk dial to HotSake after his router gave out for the final time.

The Epic Default Ten: Oz K. Fodrotski Edition
by Oz K. Fodrotski on Dec.15, 2008, under Epic Default Ten

Let’s be honest with ourselves; 2008 wasn’t a good year for gaming, it wasn’t a great year for gaming, hell, you might think it was a landmark year for gaming, but none of these descriptions are really accurate.
It was, however, the first year the gaming industry was downright cruel to its consumers.
I’ve been trying, really trying, to get through every A-list title of 2008 — I’m not even close to beating most of them, and still haven’t even touched Prince of Persia, Fallout 3, FarCry 2, Fable 2, or Mirror’s Edge (among others I’ve probably forgotten). But, the end of 2008 is upon us, so despite this huge gap in my gaming experience this year, it’s time to make my picks for the first-annual Epic Default Ten.
Thankfully, it doesn’t all have to be games; indeed, the bent to this set of awards is pretty irreverent. Let’s get started, shall we?

The Epic Default Ten: Jonny Nero Edition
by Jonny Nero on Dec.11, 2008, under Epic Default Ten
In our effort to completely blend in with the gaming/geek blog scene, Epic Default Productions is pleased to announce the Epic Default Ten. These prestigious awards have been dolefully mulled over by our staff, and are accompanied with pleasant pats on the backs. Hopefully they will quickly become the most sought after awards in the blogosphere.
The EDP staff has been given a challenge, to come up with ten different awards for various geeky things this year. Over the next month to send this year packing with a good kick in the pants, they will individually present them on this blog.
You can find mine after the jump.
The Epic Default Podcast, Episode 4: Part 2/3 PAX Review
by Jonny Nero on Sep.20, 2008, under Podcast
It’s a week late, but we got it up. This is our part of the big three part PAX review episode recorded with the guys from The Random Access Podcast and the Leetbix Podcast. Check out their sites and subscribe to their feeds. They are a bunch of great guys and their shows aren’t half bad either :p.
In regaurds to the PAX episode of EDP
by Jonny Nero on Sep.17, 2008, under Site News
There has been queries on the Random Access and Leetbix sites about where the second episode of the special edition PAX review is. Yes we have it, and I have it about 50% prepared.
I’ve cleared my lunch break and after work schedule for the next week (minus clean up) just in case. I should be able to have it up by Friday at the latest, so please stay tuned.
As a matter of fact, why not subscribe to the Epic Default Podcast, Random Access Podcast, and Leetbix Podcast feeds. They are awesome shows, and that’s the first place you will find any of the episodes as we get them done.
Do not forget to leave Itunes feedback on any/all of the podcasts, or leave a comment, or send an email to these guys as well as us. If they’re anything like us (a 99% possibility having met representatives from the sites at PAX), they will enjoy and appreciate it.
Also, stay tuned for the next real episode of EDP, we have got a lot of news and things to make fun of that have come up in the last month or so, so it should be a good one.
And finally, thanks for all the concern for all of us down here. We have got a long, tough road ahead of us, and hearing it definitely brightens our day.
Edit: Forgot to post this! here’s the pics of the ‘rent’s place before and after the storm
