Happy April Fools Day everybody! (First person who says that I’m late with that, dies!)

So in planning the layout of this feature, I completely neglected to look ahead and see what specific days fell on a Thursday. So this weeks installment will be full of pieces that are completely untrue. However, you might have missed some of these items that day, so really, it works out in the end!

It’s amazing what happens when you “leave a website.”  Ideas start flowing left and right.  Epic News is going to be a weekly segment in which we review ten news stories from the previous week in the world of geeky culture,  and then provide you with our own peanut gallery comments.  So, if you’re brave enough, click on the jump to see what’s in store for you.

In our effort to completely blend in with the gaming/geek blog scene, Epic Default Productions is pleased to announce the Epic Default Ten. These prestigious awards have been dolefully mulled over by our staff, and are accompanied with pleasant pats on the backs. Hopefully they will quickly become the most sought after awards in the blogosphere.

The EDP staff has been given a challenge, to come up with ten different awards for various geeky things this year. Over the next month to send this year packing with a good kick in the pants, they will individually present them on this blog.
